U.S.- President Donald Trump on Wednesday threatened to cut off federal funding to schools if they don’t resume in-person instruction for the fall semester. The president tweeted that Democrats think it would be a bad political move if schools opened before the election in November. However, Trump said reopening schools is “important for the children & families,” adding that he “May cut off funding if not open.”
